Disney Drops Two New Featurettes for Zootopia 2, Hype Builds Ahead of Nov 26 Release

Disney has officially kicked off the promotional sprint for Zootopia 2 with the release of two brand-new featurette clips, giving fans a fresh peek into the long-awaited sequel arriving November 26.

The original Zootopia became a global phenomenon thanks to its razor-sharp humor, vibrant world-building, and timely social commentary — and judging by these new featurettes, the sequel looks ready to continue that legacy.

Featurette #1: “Got Him”

The first clip, A daring rescue gets momentarily paused for a monologue of lies before a kitchen pan saves the day.

Featurette #2: “Dream Team”

After cracking the biggest case in Zootopia’s history, rookie cops Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voice of Jason Bateman) find their partnership isn’t as solid as they thought when Chief Bogo (voice of Idris Elba) orders them to join the Partners in Crisis counseling program. But it doesn’t take long for their partnership to be put to the ultimate test when they find themselves on the twisting trail of a mystery tied to the arrival of a venomous snake in the animal metropolis. The trailer, poster and trailer stills are now available to download and share.

Why the Hype Is Real

  • The sequel arrives 8 years after the first movie, making nostalgia a massive driver.

  • Judy and Nick remain one of Disney Animation’s most iconic duos.

  • Early glimpses show a visual upgrade powered by Disney’s latest animation tech.

  • New locations and characters hint at a bigger, more expansive world.

With marketing now fully rolling, Disney is clearly positioning Zootopia 2 as one of its biggest holiday releases. If these featurettes are any indication, fans are in for a visually stunning, emotionally sharp, and wildly entertaining return to the mammal metropolis.

Mark your calendars: Zootopia 2 hits theaters on November 26.
